I’m currently studying for a qualification in Public Relations and wanted to get an insight into the workings of a PR agency. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jellybean over the last few years in my role at a video production company and knew they would be the perfect solution to help me gain the experience I was after.

At the start of the week I stepped into an office that was already in full swing – phones ringing, printers printing, keyboards clattering, people chatting, and of course coffee brewing. Whisky, the dog – wearing an adorable sailor scarf – greeted me at the door; I was then introduced to the enthusiastic and bubbly Jellybean team. It was great to see some familiar faces and also a fantastic opportunity to meet some new people.

Throughout the week, my time was jam-packed with a wide variety of tasks, which included creating and scheduling tweets, writing a blog, filming and editing a vox pops video, researching costs and overlooking a new interactive resource tool for chefs. I also attended a fantastic presentation on the new social media tools available.

I’ve loved my experience with Jellybean Creative and I know I’ve learned so much about the industry and also the day-to-day running of a PR agency.

My week with the Jellybean team has been brilliant, insightful and extremely fun. If you are new to PR, then I highly recommend contacting Jellybean, they are professional people who put care and passion into their work and clients.
