As the pandemic hit, the bean team not only managed to effectively work remotely and rework plans to the new world-order, they did it on a game-changing level. I can say this with absolute confidence as the proof sits in our boardroom along with our existing collection of gongs.

Firstly, 2021 saw our Sarson’s ‘Proud to Serve Quality Fish and Chip Shops of Great Britain’ shortlisted in both the Wing Awards and B2B Marketing Awards. Then come  September it went on to scoop not one but two Wing Awards! (More details here) Fast forward to November and the B2B Marketing Awards, where it then proceeded to take Silver in the Best SME-Targeted Campaign category! A hat trick!

The B2B Marketing Awards are accepted as the Oscars of the B2B world and saw us compete with some of the biggest brands and agencies around (and that is no exaggeration as you can see from the list of winners here). The awards themselves had 1,000 entries which were judged by 150 leading lights in the B2B field, over 500 judging hours. As you can tell, it’s a pretty rigorous judging process, to say the least. So, to come out with a Silver in our category was incredible.

Now, in February 2022 we’ve just learnt that we have won Bronze in the 2021 MAA Worldwide Globes. No mean feat when you consider that we’re up against the biggest and best from around the world. All this making our campaign a quadruple winning campaign.

It is testimony to the ‘dream bean team’ across planning and strategy, creative, marketing, PR and social who managed to create a stand-out quadruple award winning integrated campaign, which not only reflected and responded to the challenging times it was activated in, but also managed to drive change in a market sector through doing the right thing and supporting the SME fish and chip shops when they needed it most.
