Despite having worked at jellybean, the leading food and drink agency, for the past 6 years, surrounded by dedicated foodies and food and drink brands on a daily basis, when it comes to eating out, I’m not someone who typically experiments. I tend to play it safe with the usual Italian’s, Indian’s and Burger places, so you can imagine, I’m not the most experienced when it comes to ramen. But… after visiting Bone Daddies in Soho, I might be rethinking that!
Bone Daddies is a lively spot, blending bold Japanese flavours with a laid-back vibe that fits perfectly with Soho’s eclectic food scene. For someone who hasn’t been to a place like this before, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised.
I ordered the T22 Ramen from the menu, a comforting bowl that delivered in all the right ways. The broth was rich, the chicken tender, and the soy seasoning balanced perfectly with the fresh noodles. Every bite was warm and satisfying – definitely one of the best ramen bowls I’ve had (although potentially the only ramen bowl I’ve had).
But let me tell you, the highlight of my meal had to be the Katsu Tater Tots. These little bites of joy were crispy, flavourful, and absolutely addictive! The crunchy coating paired with the deliciously spiced filling was incredible. Honestly, I could’ve ordered five portions as a main meal – they were that good.
If you’re not in the mood for ramen, Bone Daddies offer other menu choices: from fried katsu chicken to duck bao buns. There’s plenty to choose from if you’re a newbie like me!
Between the great food and the relaxed, fun atmosphere, Bone Daddies made a memorable impression. Whether you’re a ramen lover or just curious to try something new, this is definitely a spot worth visiting. And trust me, you won’t want to miss those Katsu Tater Tots!
Bone Daddies certainly impressed – if you have other foodie recommendations, get in touch on socials!
