As a leading foodservice agency, we have long been supporters of the great work Hospitality Action does. And as Christmas is of course a time for giving, we jumped at the chance to celebrate the arrival of the festive season and at the same time give back, at a time of year when those less fortunate often feel it the most. So it was glad rags on and off we headed to London’s Chino Latino within the Park Plaza London Riverbank for the Hospitality Action Christmas Fundraising Dinner.

It was little wonder we chose this fabulous event to herald the festive season, as the chef line-up was impressive even by industry standards, featuring:

Starter by Phil Howard, Elystan Street, London – One Michelin Star, 3 AA rosettes

Fish course by James Cochran, Restaurant 12:51, London – 2 AA rosettes and Banquet Winner on BBC2’s Great British Menu 2018

Main course by Frédéric Don, executive head chef of three of sketch’s restaurants

Dessert by Ben Tish, Norma, London

The food was, as expected, a triumph (see our Instagram Story if you really want to be jealous) and with the Taittinger flowing it is fair to say everyone was very much in the festive spirit. As the great and the good ‘dug deep’, the silent auction and live action along with the night’s raffle managed to raise a fabulous £18,000. Well done to Mark and the wonderful team at HA on a great ‘last event of the decade’ (as Astrid pointed out!).
