The Role

The role of Account Executive requires an individual who is proactive, eager to learn, highly organized, self-motivated and a real team player. The successful applicant will work as part of the client services marcomms team, on a number of different clients within an existing account team, and will report directly to the Account Manager. Account Executives act as a critical day to day link between their clients and the agency. They report to the Account Manager from whom they will take strategic lead, but they hold absolute responsibility for the day to day progress and activation of their clients’ campaigns ensuring it is produced seamlessly, on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

To work with account team including director and manager, taking responsibility for the activation, estimating and completion of client campaigns and delivering exceptional levels of client service. The role will include:

• Budgeting
• Time plans
• Copywriting
• Acting as a day to day point of contact for all clients
• Attending client meetings and participating on conference calls
• Researching, planning and buying media
• Taking briefs from clients
• Briefing creative with our in-house studio
• Completing regular updates and activity on client websites

The Candidate

The ideal candidate should be able to quickly fit into the agency and hit the ground running in the role. You should possess:

• Experience in a similar client facing role with some proven success under your belt
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Drive and motivation to progress
• Research and analytical skills are desirable
• Ability to use initiative to solve problems and think creatively with guidance from AM
• Foodservice knowledge/experience desirable but not essential

Salary commensurate with experience and industry benchmarked.
