Account Manager

The Role

The role of Account Manager requires an individual who is proactive, eager to learn, highly organized, self-motivated and a real team player. The successful applicant will work as part of the client services marcomms team, on a number of different clients within an existing account team, acting as a critical link between their client and the agency. They report to the Account Director from whom they will take strategic lead, but they hold absolute responsibility for the project management of their clients’ campaigns and deal with the day-to-day work, ensuring it is produced seamlessly, on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

To work with account team including director and exec, taking responsibility for entire client campaigns and delivering an exceptional levels of client service. The role will include:

• Strategic campaign and annual planning for clients (with AD)
• Budgeting, estimating and invoicing
• Project management, client liaison and time plans
• Copywriting
• Identifying new business with existing clients
• Managing AE/JAE on day to day basis
• Monitoring ROI/ Reporting and reviewing campaigns
• Proposal writing and presenting
• Chairing and attending client meetings/conference calls
• Researching, planning and buying media
• Taking briefs from clients /briefing creative with our in-house studio
• Problem solving

The Candidate

The ideal candidate should be able to quickly fit into the agency and hit the ground running in the role. You should possess:

• Experience in a similar client facing and project management role with 2-3 years proven success under your belt
• Exceptional organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to create proposals, annual plans, budgets and timelines
• Excellent copy writing skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Drive and motivation to progress
• Research and analytical skills
• Ability to use initiative to solve problems and think creatively
• Foodservice knowledge/experience desirable but not essential

Salary commensurate with experience and industry benchmarked.
