For over 31 years Jellybean has preached the mantra of a fully integrated approach to communications, where we deploy complementary elements from each discipline to maximum effect for our clients. And to ensure we stay ahead in a fast paced, highly competitive industry, we continue to invest in training and development of our people, all of whom have a deep-rooted passion for food and drink and an in-depth understanding of the market. I am often asked what sets Jellybean apart from other agencies and I still maintain it is our integrated approach, but above and beyond that it is our people, individuals who are encouraged to be individuals, people who really know their stuff, care deeply about what they do and whose clients love to work with. These values and the deliverables they bring to our clients business are highly valued, which is why we have some brands that have worked with us for over 25 years.

I understand what JD Rockefeller Jnr. meant when he said, “the secret of success is to do the common thing uncommonly well”, so it is massively exciting and rewarding that as the year hurtles to a close Jellybean is celebrating no less than eleven key new business wins in 2018. It’s been an extraordinary year that not only makes me extremely proud of our wonderful hard-working team but is also testament to our continued status as the integrated agency of choice for foodservice, convenience and retail brands.

It’s an impressive list of clients that we welcome into our stable; Sun Valley Nut Co. a supplier of quality nuts to some of the UK’s largest retail and foodservice operators joins handcrafted luxury chocolate makers, Gnaw by appointing Jellybean to take their communications to the next level. Global bioscience company, Chr. Hansen, and leading pharmaceutical giant, Pfizer, have also appointed us to guide them strategically and creatively in their marketing, the former on a global basis. Award-winning smoothie brand Savse and bespoke mobile catering unit manufacturer, G&M Leisure have also joined the ranks, alongside ethical premium peanut butter makers, Manilife, Airline catering experts, Monty’s Bakehouse, Surrey-based sausage makers Porky Whites, the Foodservice Quality Food Awards, and an exciting soon-to-be-revealed spirits brand, launching nationwide in 2019 (more on this next year!).

It’s certainly been another busy year at the agency where our PR, social media, marcomms, design and digital specialists have embraced fresh challenges and new frontiers servicing all our clients, old and new. The team has been nothing short of amazing, continuing to think differently across the business so that our ideas are relevant, fresh, edgy and in touch with the market.

It is massively and personally rewarding as CEO and founder of the business that our 31 years of expertise and experience, as well as decades of investment in our people and business resources, mean that we continue to offer an outstanding team for clients to work with and campaigns that really gain traction and stand-out from the crowd. We’re proud that a fully integrated strategy, allied to our creative thinking and unrivalled understanding of the marketplace, has yet again paid dividends, resulting in an unprecedented raft of new business wins – a heady mix of exciting up-and-coming suppliers twinned with our existing portfolio, including some of the most respected names in the business, some of whom have been allied to the agency for longer than I care to remember.
