As the leading foodservice agency we’ve long been supporters of Hospitality Action and the great work they do for those in our industry who have fallen on hard times. So when they invited us along to their Big Fat Quiz (as a thank you for some of the pro-bono design work we had done for them) we couldn’t wait.
We love a quiz (not that we are competitive – much!) and so it turned out, did our fellow guests on our table who hailed from Propercorn, Bidfood, Wenlock Spring and CESA UK. To steal from Forest Gump, a shared table is like a box of chocolates, you never who what you’re gonna get, but last night it was safe to say we made up a veritable dream team. With a blend of knowledge from sport to soaps, ads to music and even a spot of culture, we stormed through the rounds. With 54 teams/tables we didn’t start the evening thinking we’d win, but as we continued to make the top ten the tension was on, until… much to our delight and surprise we won! (picking up a rather impressive trophy and even some lovely bubbles). Well done to all out team mates and of course Hospitality Action for putting us together and for a great night raising money for a great cause. We’ll be back next year as reigning champions.
