The Challenge
To develop a campaign that unites, informs and inspires both caterers and consumers and shows them just how easy and convenient it is to use Jus-Rol pastry. For caterers the emphasis needed to be on profitability and ease of use and for consumers, simplicity.
The Solution
British Pie Week! - dedicated to the nation’s favourite pub classic. To make big noise in foodservice Jellybean devised and developed a competition to find the best pub pie – The Pub Pie Champion – whereby Pub Chefs can enter their original pie recipes online and consumers can vote for their favourite!
The Campaign Success
Launched in 2007 the week has gone from strength to strength. Now a part of the industry calendar, hundreds of pubs each year take part in celebrating the Great British pie. The website receives thousands of hits from caterers and consumers alike and British Pie Week has gained huge amounts of coverage in the trade and consumer press as well as regenerating interest in pies throughout the year.
