In a turbulent year of world events, political upheaval and an uncertain trading future it’s reassuring to know that the world of B2B marketing remains generally positive, upbeat and in growth. In a recent report from B2B Marketing 25% of agencies see the market as strong and two thirds consider it to be in good shape.
Within this environment I couldn’t be more proud of my team at Jellybean to be ranked (once again) in the top 50 UK B2B marcomms agencies in the latest league table 2016/17 published this week by B2B Marketing. Sitting among agencies with global head counts of over 500, I consider this to be a major achievement for a specialist marcomms business dedicated to the UK foodservice industry and I am even more chuffed that we rank in the top 20 agencies with 0-50 employees.
At Jellybean we are energised, excited and ready for the challenges ahead in 2017, and rightly so, we specialise in an industry that remains buoyant despite the current culture of uncertainty. British diners are eating out more than ever, the industry saw a 2.2% yoy growth over the festive season and the food and drink sector got a special mention for its critical value to the UK economy in Teresa May’s recent Brexit speech. It’s true the “future is not what it used to be” but we love our industry and we’re looking forward to the journey ahead.
