Here at Jellybean we like to do things a little differently, so having our Christmas do in January has become somewhat of a tradition.
With the highly anticipated venue kept under lock and key, suspicions of the restaurant circled the office. This year’s venue took a French turn (Aubaine style) and we found ourselves in the heart of London (Regent Street to be exact).
We kicked off with drinks and canapés in our own private dining room followed by an amazing three course meal cooked by the very talented chefs at Aubaine.
My choices below:
Salmon Tartare, Caviar and Sour Cream
Sea Bream, Roast Garlic Mash, Leeks and Cockle Butter
In between courses we all got involved in some Jellybean themed games, organised by Sooz, Jayne, Gary and Andy. We all showed our competitive side with the ‘Jellybean in a cup’ game (although some of us were better than others) and we finished the games off with the classic After Eight game.
With full stomachs we departed the night slightly merry and joyous from the lovely wines chosen carefully by our MD Fiona – we all had a great post-Christmas do.
Unfortunately Fiona was unwell and couldn’t make the celebrations. It wasn’t the same without her, but having arranged such a great night for us all, we made sure she was there in spirit!
