On Friday 13th December, the Jellybeans decided to sport our favorite and (in some cases) most hideous festive woolies to get us in the Christmas spirit. More importantly, wearing our Christmas jumpers meant we were raising money for a great cause – Save the Children. We don’t believe in doing things by half though, so we really raised the bar with Alex’s bold flashing Christmas jumper, Laura’s hand embroidered number and not to mention some 3D ensembles complete with carrot nosed snowmen. Throw in numerous Santa hats, our very own Santa Claus (unfortunately not armed with gifts or with a long white beard) and two dogs rocking tinsel necklaces and you have quite the festive tableaux.
As well as enjoying all the festivities in the Jellybean grotto, we were also very aware of the charity element behind all the fun and that our donations were going to a worthy cause. Save the Children run world-wide programmes to save children’s lives, aiding in areas such as children’s rights, education, child poverty, health and HIV, hunger and protection… all to give children a brighter future.
