In early 2013, Essential Cuisine, the British producer of premium quality stocks, jus, gravy and glaces, appointed Jellybean Creative, the leading foodservice agency, as their strategic marketing and PR partner for their entire out-of-home portfolio.
The task was to rebrand their entire business with a complete new look and feel, and reposition them in the foodservice market as a more personable, ‘human’ brand to reflect the Essential team values and personalities – a defining outcome of the sound insight carried out before creative work began. We worked to rebrand elements across all platforms (from a website and social media facelift to all new pop-up stands), updating not only their design but their overall messaging and style. Then, as a fundamental part of the activation process, we worked hard to embed this into the company’s culture by achieving full internal buy in – not a mean feat!
The new brand look and messaging, which has been rolled out across fully integrated marketing and PR campaigns, has been incredibly well received by all, with opportunities-to-see figures reaching into the millions.
