As a leading B2B agency we spend most of our time gainfully employed ensuring our clients brands succeed. However, a happy bi-product of all the hard work which goes into marketing our clients is that we as an agency continue to go from strength to strength and have consistently managed to make it into the B2B Marketing Agency League Table. This year it has extended from the usual 50 to a more inclusive 60, but we were very pleased to see that we made it into the top 50 (again) at a very respectable ranking of 43.
Looking at the wider picture, it’s not just Jellybean that is doing well. The B2B sector as a whole looks very positive with agency average gross income just 3% off the pre-recession heyday of 2007. Plus, with 25 new entries for the 2013 edition, it would seem both the credibility of the table and the sector itself is growing. That’s not to say that the sector is having an easy time, as the recession has seen a definite impact on hiring, with agencies squeezing resource and working harder to drive revenue per headcount. But we know that’s not just true of agencies, as this recession has seen us all – clients and agencies alike – working harder than ever.
Busy as we are, there is usually very little time for back-slapping and self-congratulation, but perhaps a beer from the rehab beer fridge might be in order today to toast our success. Here’s to the Jellybean team – well done us!
