Here at Jellybean we consider ourselves social media experts and national weeks provide a great base to drive a Twitter campaign. Last week was Rainforest Alliance’s ‘Follow The Frog Week’ which gave our gluten-free and Rainforest Alliance certified cake client, Almondy, the perfect opportunity to share with the world its commitment to this great initiative and engage with its current and potential customers via social media for a week full of fun facts and Rainforest Alliance-themed giveaways.
With thanks to the Rainforest Alliance we were able to get our hands on some of their trademark green frogs and bags for life to give away on the @AlmondyCake Twitter account. The creative minds at Jellybean also managed to source some quirky frog onesies to give away for each day of the week on Twitter and one for the Almondy Facebook page to integrate their social media channels.
Due to strategic planning, lots of interaction, hashtags and throwing in some comical onesies, we were able to grow the followers of @AlmondyCake by over 1,100 with their tweets being seen by 2 million potential customers in just seven days. Celebrating their first birthday on Twitter just this week, Jellybean has exceeded their expectations and will continue to foster and grow their online presence going forward.
