It’s Day Three of the Big Jellybean Bake off, and with the office suffering from a sugar comedown after the delights of yesterday’s Mars Bar Crispy Cakes, Jammy Dodger Cupcakes and Chocolate Brownies, today’s offering has gone down a more wholesome, natural route.
Sam’s famous Marmite Tarts have been updated with Pumpkin, Sunflower, Sesame and Poppy Seeds – providing some much needed Omega 3 for the office, Andy has uncovered a new talent for baking, presenting his beautifully crafted mini star shaped shortbread and back by popular demand is Liz’s fragrant Lavender Shortbread.
After three days a cake eating strategy has developed with cakes for breakfast, a power walk at lunch followed by a healthy salad for dinner, so far lots of money has been raised without too much damage on our waste lines… the weigh in on Friday may reveal a different story.
With Sue’s return from holiday one question is on everyone’s lips, will her delicious Marble Cake make an appearance for Friday’s coffee morning.
