This week we found out that Google has announced the new version of its Google Analytics is in development and is shortly to be released. At the moment it is in beta testing but they will be allowing more users to access it soon.
Google’s aim for the new version of Google Analytics is to make it faster and easier to get the relevant data you require and improve its platform and functionality. Many of the changes that have been made to Google Analytics have been brought about by feedback made by its users.
Google will be highlighting some of the new features soon but one of the first things they are talking about is its new Custom Dashboards and Multiple Dashboards. No doubt you are aware that the dashboard is the first thing most users see when entering their analytics. The new dashboard has been designed to be widget based, making it easier to customise the initial view you see to get the most important data straight off.
We feel that the new changes to Google Analytics is going to serve us well within Foodservice marketing as it is going to allow us to analyse the data from our clients sites in greater detail and compare more data within the content and to give us better insight for SEO and future developments.
