The Network’s mission is “to broaden and diversify the environmental movement worldwide, and to mobilise it as the most effective vehicle for promoting a healthy, sustainable environment.”
More than one billion people take part in Earth Day activities in 190 countries. The Earth Day Network aims not only to highlight the global problems such as carbon emissions and global warming but also to demonstrate that we have an opportunity to build a better, cleaner future.
