Where do you stand on the campaign to take home more doggie bags to reduce food in our restaurants, as reported in the Waitrose Food Illustrated magazine and supported by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall? Are the English just to embarrassed to ask or is it a dining faux-pas? The Yanks have been doing it for years but we don’t seem to be able to muster up the courage. Surely if we have paid for it, we should be able to take it with us. On the other hand, is this the best way to reduce food waste in our restaurants? I know which way my dogs would vote if I asked them…!
